Adler Dental in Solon, IA is seeking a part-time Dental Hygienist to join the team. This position offers a starting pay from $38/hr along with a flexible schedule and parental leave benefits.
The role involves performing adult and pediatric cleanings, obtaining diagnostic radiographs, conducting periodontal assessments and charting, and administering local anesthesia. Additional responsibilities include patient education on oral hygiene, applying fluoride treatments and sealants, accurately documenting findings in Open Dental, assisting with scheduling, and maintaining sterilization standards.

Job Description Core Duties: Perform adult and pediatric dental cleanings, obtain diagnostic radiographs, conduct periodontal assessments and charting, and administer local anesthesia.
Patient Care & Education: Educate patients on oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive health, and apply fluoride treatments and sealants as appropriate.
Administrative & Clinical Tasks: Document clinical findings accurately in Open Dental, assist with scheduling treatment needs and hygiene recare, maintain infection control and sterilization standards, and help create a welcoming experience for every patient.
part-time $38 - $44 per hour

Shift & Schedule Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Thursday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
