Front End Engineer (React)

Location: Remote

Duration: 6 Months+

A growing SaaS organization is seeking an experienced Front End Engineer for a 6-month remote contract. The company develops software solutions that help global brands and retailers optimize pricing, promotions, and consumer insights. Using React, JavaScript, and modern front-end technologies, you will build features across multiple SaaS products ranging from established platforms to newer products still in early development.

This is an opportunity to join a small, highly collaborative engineering team where your work can directly influence products used by major global consumer brands. You’ll have significant autonomy, the ability to contribute ideas from prototype through production, and exposure to a variety of technical and UX challenges. The environment combines the resources and stability of an established organization with the ownership, flexibility, and fast pace of a startup-style engineering team.

Required Skills & Experience

\n

· 3–5 years of user interface development experience

\n

· Strong JavaScript development experience

\n

· Experience working with JavaScript libraries and modern front-end technologies

\n

· Knowledge of MVC, MVP, and/or MVVM design patterns

\n

· Strong understanding of object-oriented design

\n

· Experience developing highly interactive software applications

\n

· Understanding of website design and usability principles

\n

· Strong understanding of cross-browser rendering issues

\n

· Knowledge of version control systems

\n

· Ability to communicate effectively across business and technical teams

\n

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment

\n

Desired Skills & Experience

\n

· Experience with React or a similar MVC framework

\n

· TypeScript experience

\n

· Ability to provide code samples or an online portfolio

\n

· Degree in Computer Science or a related field

\n

· Experience supporting international product rollouts

\n

· Build and enhance front-end features across multiple SaaS products

· Turn product and engineering ideas into robust, well-tested production code

\n

· Develop high-quality user interfaces using React and JavaScript

\n

· Maintain awareness of target users, usability principles, and current UI trends

\n

· Create prototypes to communicate user interactions and design concepts

\n

· Apply user interaction principles to help users accomplish their goals effectively

\n

· Collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure accurate implementation of UI functionality

\n

· Participate in a collaborative engineering environment while independently owning assigned work
