Seasonal Tax Preparer – Customer-Focused Team Member

Our independently owned Jackson Hewitt office in Berwyn is looking for a dynamic,
friendly, and dependable person who enjoys helping customers and works well with others.

English/Spanish bilingual skills are a plus as we serve a large Spanish speaking
community.
What You Will Do
• Welcome clients, build positive relationships, and provide friendly, attentive service
from their first visit through completion of their return.
• Gather and review client information, prepare accurate individual federal and state
tax returns, and explain results clearly using the training and procedures required for
the position.
• Work with the team to manage appointments, answer calls, follow up with clients,
and keep the office running smoothly.Helpful Experience and Required Training
Previous customer service, retail, or other public-facing experience is valuable. Tax
preparation experience is preferred, ideally two years or more. Experience with tax
preparation software and systems—especially Jackson Hewitt—is a plus.
Successful completion of required training is necessary before you are authorized to
prepare returns. You must also obtain or renew a valid IRS Preparer Tax Identification
Number (PTIN) for the applicable calendar year before preparing returns. IRS
Schedule and Availability
This is an in-person, seasonal position in Berwyn. Applicants must be available
throughout the tax season, including weekends and occasional evening shifts.

Compensation
We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications. Specific
compensation terms will be discussed during the interview and hiring process.
